Search engine optimization (SEO) is a common method to increase traffic
to websites and there are many companies that offer SEO services. We do not.
SEO has the distinct advantage of being quite cost effective in that whilst you might pay a fee to get SEO for your site, the price
you pay is not linked to the traffic you receive and so it seems attractive to many people. This is especially true of those with
expectations of million plus hits/day websites. Whilst it is possible to achieve such things, nowadays the likelihood is slim and
the money you will pay is not as cost effective as it may seem at first. It also takes a long time for SEO to achieve significant
results, often years.
The first thing you will notice about SEO enhanced sites is that the traffic is less focussed upon your offerings than they might be
if they walked into your shop for example. When someone makes an effort to travel to a shop and walk in, a significant amount of
